![]() The OSM (openstreetmap) databse is extremely good, and well known hiking/biking trails are on it. ![]() If I have a routable road, single track, or double track that I want to build a route (or track/whatever) I'll route through that single/double/road in between whatever waypoints I want to. I have no patience at all for the terrible experience that is using basecamp. see the eyeball next to the track/waypoint you want to load, press it, and it will be displayed on the map.Īs far as building routes with locus, that's all I use. ![]() You can load 10,000 miles of tracks and 10,000 waypoints (actually a LOT MORE, but just an example) if you want to, or only load ONE track and ONE waypoint at a time. Same thing for all the waypoints in the waypoints section. Then you simply press the LEFT SIDE of the folder for TOI and all the tracks will load, in the tracks section. I like to create a new directory for large rides, you can name it "TOI" in both the waypoints and tracks databases. Select locus as the app to handle it, and locus will ask you where to put the tracks and waypoints.
